Wizardry- Labyrinth of Lost Souls

This is a decent game if you are looking for a basic turn based RPG.  no real strenuous graphics... feels like a classic super nintendo RPG in a lot of ways.  You basically get a real advantage with your party if you know what you are doing.  It is rare that you don't get to dominate a battle, BUT with the add-ons, you can easily get owned.  I have a party that is mostly level 50, and the bottom floor of the add-on STILL owns me.  The trophies also are not all that difficult to achieve if you are looking to get the platinum.

The only issue is, killing 50,000 monsters and playing the game for 200ish hours, can get old. especially if you realize you can create your entire party from the "main" characters and level them up all at the same time instead of having 50+ characters.  I have played the game 110 hours and beaten it with most characters.  I have figured out the game so well, i can beat the game in 30 minutes.  so playing for another 90 hours... seems pretty tedious especially just to get a trophy.  I almost feel like i should start the game, turn my fan on to keep my ps3 cool, and watch cable.  The only real issue is killing 50000 monsters, which honestly you could just fight the monsters on the first floor.

Virtua Fighter 5

I have been playing Virtua Fighter off and on for years, including the arcade games.  Virtua Fighter 4 was not all that difficult of a game, and once you learned how the A.I worked, it never really got more challenging.  It is the one REAL downside to this game.  If you master a character, the computer basically cannot beat you.  My actual record on Virtua fighter 5 story mode is like 500 wins, and 10ish losses.  No quitting in the middle of a battle either.  that is my actual record.  Kind of a disappointment in my opinion.  If you are looking for a challenge, and you played VF4 a lot... you are not in for one. I think 4 was actually harder.

Yakuza 3

This is a fun game, and with the multiple assortment of mini-games, it is definitely a challenge.  The only real issue I had with this game, is the number of hoodlums you face seems to be never ending.  As I once said to my best friend "There sure are alot of hoods in Japan."  This game is basically a more 3 dimensional version of virtua fighter with some of the most violent take downs and moves i have ever seen in a game.  Slamming men into safety railings.  Picking up environmental objects and bludgeoning them half-to-death.  Just a lot of violence, and a decent story-line to boot.

Dante's Inferno

This is another God of War rip off, but instead of legendary mythical beasts from Greek Mythos, you are fighting Demon's in hell.  Really kind of an easy game in my opinion, and because of that I never felt like buying the add-on content was worth it.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

I like this game.  Sometimes the play control can be choppy and disappointing.  But the storyline, was great.  It was definitely accurate of how the comics would go.  It made me feel like i was playing a modernized version of the early to mid 90s Knightfall series, but with modern graphics and the Voice of the 90s Batman, who as we of the 90s generation get to play the man who voiced batman in a decent story.  This game deserved Game of the Year, and it is a must have game for any true batman fan.

The Cave

This game is not the greatest game in the world.  and honestly, the fact it is trying to teach you a moral in a video game can get pretty lame.  To top it off, the game's puzzles can be rather annoying.  To top it off, the voice of The Cave, gets REALLY old.  This is not a game I would have actually purchased, and am grateful it was free on ps plus.  And the fact that you have to play and beat the game at least 5ish times to get all of the endings is annoying and repetitive.  not really a game i would recommend to people.

Final Fantasy X HD

I liked the storyline of FFX, I never actually played X-2 but it got mixed reviews.  I personally thought if you took it on it's own merit it was one of the better FF Games, originality.my all-time favorite still being FF7, due to its originality  I am sorry that they never actually finished the HD remake of 7. especially since it was the greatest selling game for all of squaresoft's library.  I think remaking X in HD is a good choice for square, but not the best choice that they could have made for HD remakes.

Metal Gear Saga HD

I am glad they are re-releasing all of the Metal Gear Saga in HD.  I played each of these games for hours, and the were great each time i played them.  The replayability of them was probably their greatest feature.  And playing the games through a second time revealed so much more of the motivation of the characters.  Which is why they were so great.  I even like Metal Gear Solid 2, which most people did not.  They did not feel that Raiden was a good enough substitue... but the point was that you could recreate what Solid Snake did in Shadow Moses, with someone else.  As the story line progressed I felt that it got more and more interesting, like the fact that Ocelot was brainwashed by the nano-machines inside of his body.  Overall, I loved this game series.

Castlevania (PS3)

This is probably the most visually stunning game i have EVER PLAYED to date.  I still am amazed at the detail in this game when i play it.  I love this game, and Kojima did an amazing job on the reboot.  I actually think that the explanation this game gives of why the Belmont Clan is hunting dracula is a very interesting one.  It also is very true to Kojima's style (even if others do not like it all the time) of the classic long cut scenes.  It is still a great game in my opinion and the abilities are also interesting as well.  I enjoyed playing this game, and getting it for under $20 i feel like was a steal.

Kane and Lynch 1 and 2

Not many people are a fan of this game series.  I personally loved it.  The first game was basically a 2 player remake of the game Freedom Fighters for PS2.  I never played that game much, but i saw it played enough by my former roommate, that I knew what it was about, and understood the play controls... and In Dead Men, you controlled your party members the exact same way.

Kane and Lynch 2 you switched from playing Kane as first player to Lynch.  Lynch is pretty hardcore, and they even made him look like the Undertaker on the cover of the first game.  You run through Hong Kong trying to kill countless dirty cops owned by a head of state, in order to escape the city.  The two of you get completely screwed over, and are forced to run.  I liked these games, the sad part is Kane and Lynch have been forced into the role of add-on characters for the Lara croft game, because they did not sell well.

Facebreaker

This game was basically impossible... i mean there is even a literally impossible difficulty setting.  I never beat this game in the 5 years i owned it. I eventually just got sick of trying to beat it anyway possible, and am now selling it on amazon.  overall this is a terrible game with bad play control.  good luck beating it with one character let alone all of them.
